After yesterDAY's bad readings, things got better in the evening. My one hour after dinner reading was 214 which is NOT good, and after a couple of cinnamon pills and another hour and 1/2 I finally got to a more reasonable 154. Granted, my goal will be to never got above 140 once I get fully going on this endeavor.
This morning my fasting number was 137. That's much better than it has been the past two days, yesterday 155, and the day before 162, and the day before that 203. So I know I'm heading in the right direction :o)
I'm doing my best to eat most importantly low carb, and secondly low fat. Calories, I'm not really worrying about. I've been reading very interesting research that is showing that High Blood Glucose that is not in control has much higher risk of heard attack than high cholesterol. So that's my focus.
If I have to choose between a carb or a fat, I'll choose the fat. :o) Doing my best to keep them both in line.
